I saw the idea of designing a t shirt for the SPS message board, and just happen to be talking to a buddy of mine who owns a screen printing company in Brandon....he told me he could make us a t shirt, 2 colored, double sided (or single sided) for around $6.75 a shirt....if one of you guys who owns the board wants to raise some money for the board and do the task of shipping the shirts to those who pay.........just a thought....I read a lot on msducks.com and one of the guys wife did the collecting for some hats he had made and it worked out well....collect the money up front, then ship the shirts USPS priority shipping......the t shirt end was easy, its just finding someone who would collect the money and ship the shirts that would be time consuming.... maybe a "Design the SPS Officially unofficial T shirt?" contest?.... this is all a thought.....if any of you board moderators want to take the bull by the horns, it could raise some money for this site.... or get some shirts out at the SPS tailgate and sell em? again, just a thought

At the Cub implosion last Tuesday there was a guy wearing a shirt with "SPS" on the left chest and some text under it. I could not read the front but the second or third time he got up and walked past me, I saw that is was for the Society of Physics Students.

1. There needs to be a choice of 2 or 3 shirts. Lets be honest, even though we share a common love (and hate) not all of us have the same taste. People who like to wear shirts that make statements (the dubmass shirt) need to have their pick and more traditional people (me) need to have their pick. A simple Sixpackspeak officially unofficial with a frat pocket and bulldog strong ale on the back would do for me.

2. Next, there HAS to be a contest for this. DS or 615 could organize the competition and the mods could pick the winners. Again, 2 or three will do.

3. Paypal might be the best payment option as I have had nothing but good experiences with it.

4. Shipping will be to the address you give them but in NO way should they ever think about giving out hometowns to ANYBODY. Some people try to remain completely behind a screen and others don't. (Not that DS would do this anyway)

5. It needs to be done before football season. SPS is taking over the internet message board world and most people or things that take over the world have cool fratty *** t-shirts.

6. References to beer are not only welcomed but encouraged.

Let's get this done. I would wear my SPS shirt all the time and have been wondering all along why nobody ever sold one.

I would put the logo on the back with "Abandon all hope ye who cheer for the maroon and white." underneath it. The Short bus should be on the front pocket with just "<17>" underneath it. I would wear that shirt. (Needs to be white too, I don't wear my maroon shirts too much)

...I think these get the Sixpack message across, while not lookin toolish. Coach33, I think you would like some form of option one the most. However, I think maybe having the Sixpack logo AND the "abandon all hope" together on the back is maybe too much and looks too jumbled.
