What soccer club would you place your kid in Desoto county? Or would you drive to Collierville and play for them?

Assuming kid is 9 and talented and the goal is for the kid to developed well enough to play in college.

It depends on how much driving you are willing to do. TN Rush out of Memphis is probably the best program around there. The Rush soccer people also have a club in Olive Branch. The Collierville program is strong as well. I would take a look at the team's websites and see which program travels the most and plays in the higher profile tournaments. In the end however, it often comes down to which coaches you are most comfortable with.
