Pierre Thomas's ribs are 17ed up more than is being let on and the Saints picked up Deuce in case Thomas can't play. This is a desparation move. There's no way he can be ready to play in a playoff game tomorrow.

After America's Team ends Frett Barf's career Sunday, they will end Deutches the next weekend, all on the Cowboy's way to their Sixth World Championship.

I know the Sixpack board will be silver and blue when America's Team hoists the (should be named Landry) Trophy at the end of Super Sunday.

This makes me nervous on many levels. How long has it been since he has practiced, much less lined up in a game? If this is out of desperation, then obviously they are not ready for tomorrow. What will this do to the team dynamics? Will this news be a distraction? I like Deuce, but I don't like the timing.

They need help with a blocking back in passing situations. Reggie can't do it...then if Pierre Thomas can't go and Deuce is willing to sacrifice his already mangled legs to hold off a rusher or two, then I'm all for it I suppose.

If the Saints do not draft Dixon with their first round pick, they are idiots. He's strong, extremely durable, good receiver, good blocker, something the Saints do no have and desperately need.

Agree. That's what I was thinking. I'm betting he won't see many snaps, but the Saints need something to give them a lift. The fans, and the team, will probably get a lift from having a fan favorite on the field.

I still think they lose to the Boys, but I'll be pulling for them, because I enjoy it when Mutt is unhappy.

I think it's a great move with Pierre being probably out/limited. He's NOT going to see any carries...I figure he may get 5-10 snaps purely as a blocker, or some sort of pass catching opp.
