Coach doesn't know if he'll be back at all, and at the very least, isn't anywhere close to coming back.

Hope they figure out what's wrong the the guy.

How serious is this? Nick Bell serious? I don't like the sound of the few messages that have been posted re: Deville.

However, the first time he was in, I'm sure they did all of the scans they possibly could, and found nothing, that's why he came back to play.

Seriously, the kid has a real issue, but you really want to be a message board hero by dropping that he's taking synthetic marijuana? Really?

but I have also heard that it's a severe case of Moultrie knee. The doctors are considering not even given him anymore treatment.

Take it for what its worth but some i train some friends of his in Jackson and the "synthetic mary" is exactly what they told me was wrong with him. It's messing up a lot of smokers here in the Jackson area, according to them.

He may have a serious problem. Not funny. Maca17you

Be pissed at his friends for saying it was fact, not me. I'm just telling you what his friends here in Jackson told me....heck one of them claims he's his cousin. I'm not just running off at the mouth.....heck to be honest I would much rather the synthetic mary be true versus a "Nick Bell situation". Either way hope he gets over it.

that forever has been saying it isn't harmful to the human body is suddenly putting people in the hospital? Wtf man! Care to go further into detail on this? Not on Deville but the fact this organic substance is now suddenly dangerous to the health.

It isn't organic. It is basically potpurri sprayed with some kind of chemical.

I have heard this happening to others as well, so honestly it wouldn't surprise me if that is exactly what is wrong with him. The stuff can be real bad for you.

how stupid do you have to be to not be able to tell what is real and what is potpourri sprayed with chemicals? Wouldn't that make dealing said synthetic pourri attempted murder? As if selling it wasn't stupid enough now they are seriously hurting people on top of the multiple felonies already being committed. Dumb gets dumber everyday.

Synthetic "Marijuana" used to be sold in a lot of gas stations and smoke shops. The bag says something about "not for human consumption" which is exactly why they were allowed to sell it. The "leaves" were organic but then sprayed with the chemical to give the effect.

It became a real problem (sure it still is) because anyone could go buy it, the stuff wasn't illegal. You had all kinds of highschool and college kids smoking it and for some apparently it mimics the effects of marijuana while for others it has some very negative side-effects. After the government realized how much of problem it was becoming they deemed it a controlled substance and made it illegal to sale.

hush hush but this is toeing the line of human decency here. You are talking about thousands of fans concerned with Deville Smith's health and the weird similarities to a very tragic and recent death of Nick Bell. People are worried for his health. If he 17ed up and smoked some bad weed but will be ok health wise then this needs to be said. Not this hush hush **** that has many people thinking Deville might have something very seriously wrong. Stansbury has laid his own bed. Hiding the fact that players smoked weed is much worse in my opinion than them doing it when the cover-up is made to sound similar to a recent death of a football player. Not 17ing cool. Spill it.

</div><div>**edited to say- he's not on his deathbed or anything...he just needs to chill the 17 out</div>

to cover up the indiscretions of the players this year after the ridiculousness of last year's actions. The fight in the stands in Hawaii had to be discussed at length with Stans about the effect crap like that has onthe image of the basketball program. Then we had people claiming we have the most dysfunctional program in America in the press.Being a relatively nice guy, not screaming at players like a Frank Martin Cuban Missile Crisis, having your wife bouncing around the crowd for the camera cheering you on, andyour kids helping with team morale flying high on the bench must not be enough to keep the Dumpster Fire comments from coming Stans' way.

Therefore I must say aGAIN, Moultrie Knee is real and the Moulknee Tendon will getcha erry time. I actually hope this is what is wrong with Deville rather than something that could be far more serious.

to hear he doesn't have cancer or migraines or any of that ****. Now don't you think the rest of the people concerned should hear that instead of worrying about if he does? This isn't a couple of people. I was on ESPN in the "conversation" they have for every game and their was people all over the South following the game and guess what I see? People asking about Deville Smith and what's wrong and how it's similar to what unfortunately happened to Nick Bell. "Moultrie Knee" is one thing when it's a knee being questioned. When somebody checks into the hospital twice for "head" issues it has now become a situation that can no longer be swept under the rug.

We have to lead the country in this category. I don't whether to call it bad luck, bad job of our coaches getting a read on players and what their extracirricular activites may be, I don't know but I've never seen more scholarship players in 1 program that don't meet expectations from Day 1up until they leave. The part that really sucks is we've got a really good team this year. We've got pieces to the puzzle that could make a decent run IF we're playing with all our parts. Losing 1 guy can be the difference in making a run or not. We're not going to stand a chance if we can only suit up 7 guys the rest of the way. Especially when you consider Sid and Lewisastwo of the 7. Not a knock on them forthe obvious, just saying they aren't the type players that can log long periods of quality minutes over the course of the rest of the year.Whatever happened to be a team player and knowing your team counts on you? Deville and his ******** could very well cost usa shot ata serious run.
