For one, this is not normal at all and for Deville's sake, I'm glad everyone seems to be taking caution.

Second, if worse comes to worse and Deville is not able to continue playing, we are in serious trouble at the PG position next year.

He certainly doesn't look any worse than Deville. Appears to be a better shooter. Good handle. Not saying I'm writing off Deville at all, but I don't think we're that much worse off with Gray at the point than Deville next year, particularly if Deville is limited from this point forward and basically loses his freshman year.

our backup would also be either another true freshman or a converted SG like Steele. Not saying that Gray won't be solid, but we'll be putting a hell of a lot of stock in him to play well and play a lot of minutes.

Deville will not be much more than a true freshman next year if he is shut down the rest of this year. Even if he comes back next week and resumes playing, which seems to be the best case scenario right now, he's still not getting many minutes. Yes, it's more than Gray is getting. Bottom line is for the first time in a while, PG could be a little bit of a question mark next year.

Let's don't go there.

I didn't realize till now that Auburn could edit other posts. Who are the Godfathers on this board? DS and Auburn but who else so I can avoid pissing them off? Thanks

that doesn't stop my eyes from noticing Auburn edited a different poster. I knew DS could do that and now Auburn and I'm wondering who else?

As inconsistent as Bost has been throughout his career, I would say its a question mark today.

He will win you some games with his shooting and lose you some the same way. Been that way for four years. I don't see the shooting upside of that with Deville yet.
