By all accounts his visit went well. He and his family looked good decked out in UK gear. Does he commit to us soon or does this drag out ? Hope we get him.

I think he will pick UK but stays in his class of 2021 and we get CC. Just wishing.

Probably no one in particular. I can write vague things for clicks as well. Something is bound to happen with a “few weeks” and he’ll attach himself to that story
What about Hunter Dickinson, is it? We could use a 7’2 guy like him to man the middle . Are we still recruiting him ?

This is the best scenario, but if he stays in 2020, I think that he waits until after the Cunningham visit to see how that turns out. If CC looks like he may commit to UK, then I think Askew either stays in the 21 class, or goes elsewhere.
No reason for him to commit now and stay in 21..If Cade picks Cats I'd look for Askew to go to UL...Don't think UK gets both..I know Cal is trying ..I think it's one or the other..don't see Askew beating out Clarke for the 2g or Cade for PG ..Cade is the difference in F4 and title...Go watch what he did vs Cole at the Dicks Championship.

Has to be Jackson. Todd off the board and Brown won't commit until spring. Can't imagine it's Barnes either since he's not even considered a true big. And I doubt UK considers Traynor one of their top big man targets since they haven't offered.
I tend to agree on it being Jackson, but I think UK is recruiting these guys to play both the 4/5, and that goes for Barnes. Cal played Vanderbilt at the 5 during different stretches. Barnes is a similar player.

I think he is just referencing the situation with Todd and the fact he will go overseas. Saying Kentucky lucked out by not recruiting him and letting him string them along and wasting their time. Kentucky was able to see what he was up to and started focusing on other prospects. I think he expects Todd to announce in the next couple of weeks he is indeed going overseas.

For some time I have believe and predicted here that Askew will be a Kentucky Wildcat. The remaining unknown variable is whether he will reclass. If reclassifying is his intention, the commitment will come soon.
This was my immediate thought when I read Pilgrim's quote too. The comment of finding out WHY not WHO was the clincher for me in that thought.
I think we were getting JAckson already IMO this is talkin about Barnes or Brown due to Cade maybe coming . But who knows.
My response was not directed at the question listed above, it was another one about Calipari striking out with bigs in 2019. Has nothing to do with the 2020 class.
Also I think Askew is just waiting for the cade stuff to go down before announcing . He knows he is part of next year's squad IMO already and the coaches know this too. Just too much smoke or so it seems.

Is it his second year when U6 expects to be on probation for attempting to buy recruits? I give UL Coach Terry Meiners credit, he seems to be able to recruit through impending doom.
Maybe Pilgrim has found out something about Blackshear or another 19 player we where involved with who may end up not being able to play this year. Maybe amateur status situation or the FBI investigation. Just a wild guess.
Unless he’s talking out both sides of his mouth, he mentioned again in this article that he will stay in the 2021 class. I think two things could affect that, one, his family says he should or we don’t get Cade.
