anyone know when he has to make a decision by? How good is he? Better than Hood? What player does his skill set remind you of? Thanks

slightly higher rated than Hood was. He's a Lamar Odom type...

Latest info I can find show that he visited Texas this past weekend, will visit Mizzou and Georgetown, and will decide between us, Bama, and Ky for his last two visits. I can't find any reason to get overly optimistic that he will be a bulldog, other than he spends a ton of time at our games(he goes to alot of Bama games as well)...

I thought we were higher on his list than you seem to think. Hate to hear that, but hopefully that changes

I hope we pull him. My confidence is waning over time though. Hated that he didn't sign in the early signing period. He is one of THE most sought recruits in the country and would likely be a first-round draft pick under the old rules. If my ultimate goal was the NBA, and I had to make a choice between going to State and Kentucky, given recent history of putting one yr players into the first round, no offense, but I'm not going to State. I hope that Hood can do something to change this perception, and that the desire to play with Rodney for a season(we'll only have Pollard for one and Hood for one more) will be enough to get him to go to State. He's clearly been somewhat of a State fan his whole life, and hopefully that will be enough to get him to Starkville...

Odom is 6-10 230lb and not particularly explosive athletically<div>
</div><div>Pollard is a 6-7 195lb explosive small forward. I think a thinner Caron Butler is a better comparison.</div>

Everything I'm hearing is that he is ours to lose. Stans has done everything he can on this kid. He also did everything for Scotty Hopson, but I believe he will be a dawg.

it will come down to MSU and Alabama. He is friends with several members of the team and Coach Stansbury has been on him forever. He has grown and is close to 6'8".

he likes MSU, our coaches, and it is close to home. Kentucky at this point has recruited a couple of players that make it look better for us. I hope he joins us because like Hood, he can play right away.

He wants to take his visits, wouldn't you? I know I sure would like to see what kind of ladies get thrown at you on a visit...
It's between us and Bama, I think he ends up in S-Vegas....
