WLBT said she was found in her Cadillac, which was identified as her son's vehicle. Hmmmm.... Also, she is now a citizen of Northport..

Wow. It was obvious the woman is batshit crazy when recalling the incident where she "pulled" her own son out of one of those allstar showcase deals. But who could have predicted she was this batshit crazy?

There's a little more detail on al.com: http://blog.al.com/tuscaloosa/2013/05/jesse_mae_pollard_mother_of_ua.html#incart_river_default

Can't help but wonder why the school released the little girl to a stranger. That's not normal procedure.

Also can't help but wonder how Devonte got a Cadillac .... And we should be happy that he chose UAT rather than MSU.

She apparently wasn't a stranger to the family if she was having a feud with the child's mother. I know Jessie from many years ago and she is no stranger to anyone in the Scooba area. She actually attended that school in Scooba when she was growing up. However, I've heard more than once from friends who still live in the area that she has gone "bat crazy" as of late.

I think it was someone else who picked the kid up, not Mrs. Pollard. Or I gleaned that from the article. Saying she was a "stranger" might have been overstating it, but the school shouldn't release a child to anyone other than the parents without written permission small town or not. I doubt that was the case since they immediately went into kidnap mode.

I actually went to the elementary school in Scooba in the 2nd and 3rd grades. My teacher was Margie Aust ... she died when I was in the 3rd and they subsequently named the school after her. If there's a better teacher in the world than "Miss Margie", I can't imagine who it would be. She was absolutely fantastic.
