DJK Indiana 2009sober DJK or coked up DJK?
Had the Hawks run as much as you wanted, they would have lost. Last night was a perfect example of why you need to be able to throw the ball.Until the focus shifts to the run game, these games are going to be close.
Throwing the ball that much is tough to watch.
So far, the shinny toys have been a distraction
Well, Iowa dropped back to throw it over 30 times, and barely won. So, I guess I'm not sure why you would say thatHad the Hawks run as much as you wanted, they would have lost. Last night was a perfect example of why you need to be able to throw the ball.
Also....spell better.
I'm just spitballin' here, but my guess is he said that because Iowa rushed for less than 100 yards last night. If they had kept trying to run, they'd have rolled up around 130 and lost the game. But sure, run the ball--if you can. LOLWell, Iowa dropped back to throw it over 30 times, and barely won. So, I guess I'm not sure why you would say that
Did you even watch the game? Iowa's running attack was shut down by ISU. They only won because they were able to throw the ball.Well, Iowa dropped back to throw it over 30 times, and barely won. So, I guess I'm not sure why you would say that
Stop lying or at least look at the frigging box score before posting bs....Well, Iowa dropped back to throw it over 30 times

That's why they needed to run it more often, and more consecutively early.Did you even watch the game? Iowa's running attack was shut down by ISU. They only won because they were able to throw the ball.
Would you prefer that they have thrown the ball 20 times and barely lose? I actually believe you would.
Yes. And Iowa dropped back to throw it over 30 timesStop lying or at least look at the frigging box score before posting bs....
30 pass attempts 191 yards
29 rush attempts 93 yards
Notice the main difference?
No need to respond, I'm done trying to deal with your non-logic.
Nonsense. Had the Hawks done that last night they probably would have lost 13-3 (or more). But, I'm sure you would be fine with that. That's why they needed to run it more often, and more consecutively early.
You have to keep pounding on the D for some holes to start opening.
And you have to get your line and backs lathered into a rhythm by running consecutively early
There has to be photos of Dwight all over the football complexIt’s kind of sad to think, Tony Diaz is so young, he’s probably never even heard of Tim Dwight.
Man I’m getting old. Hopefully Kirk tells these young kids about all the Hawks that came before them.
And they were averaging 3 yards per run.Well, Iowa dropped back to throw it over 30 times, and barely won. So, I guess I'm not sure why you would say that
Because running the ball yielded virtually nothing.Well, Iowa dropped back to throw it over 30 times, and barely won. So, I guess I'm not sure why you would say that

generally i would agree but yesterday would've been a disaster on PR coz i am 100% sure isu would have laid a deliberate dirty hit to take him out and likely with no danger of even a penalty calledWhy not put Diaz in for KR/PR? Use the best talent you have on the field
And they were averaging 3 yards per run.
That's why you run it more.Because running the ball yielded virtually nothing.
Already addressed in post #20Math is hard.
Yep, the pass is what kept us in the game last night. The clowns sold out on stopping the run and it worked. That's why yelling run the ball like an uninformed knuckledragger deserves the utmost ridicule.Because running the ball yielded virtually nothing.
The offense did everything they could to help the team win. That's why you run it more.
