Iowa did not run two traditional runs plays in a row until under 11:00 to go in the 4th Q. Ran on 3rd and 1 with Williams, then on 1st and 10 with Williams.
By "traditional", I mean a run that can pound the defense. Not jet sweeps, qb sneaks, etc.
Before that point in the 4th Q, Iowa had once followed a run with a goal line qb sneak, and at another point followed a run with an end-around handoff to DJV.
Then there were two consecutive power runs (the 2nd from Brown) with just under 8 minutes to go in the 4th Q. Then, with under 3 minutes to play, Iowa ran it 7 straight times.
For people to be characterizing it as "run, run, pass" is absurd. Some people have no idea what they are watching
