"We're going to try to, as much as we can, just unleash them," he said. "I want to have a fast defense that plays faster. And to do that, you can't have them thinking a whole lot of things."</p>

Diaz said he didn't operate out of any one base set. "The first thing I'm a believer in is you find your best 11 football players," Diaz said. His main goal, he said, is to give the ball back to State's offense and give it back to it in advantageous situations. "We're going to try to be a disruptive defense," he said.</p>

Hell yeah, finally, we might be getting slightly away from the Indian-Burial ground vibes and motto: we are M State!

And to think, I just assumed we were going to promote Turner's *** or delegate Rocky or Reed Stringer to DC (sarcasm).

Can't wait for our redshirt players on D to finally have a chance to take off people's heads and jack them up! Plus we also have Chris Wilson from OU coaching DL.

Maybe we can finally do away with the Torbush theory of 3 men and a cloud of dust on Defense.

they were pretty good in pass deflections and interceptions as well as TFL and sacks. 3rd down % could've been better that's for sure, but at some point I think you have to chalk it up to talent.

I would be pretty happy tonight.

Sacks? Tackles for loss? Attacking defense? That's what I'm talking about.

.....who can now score on us. He'll make Joe Lee Dunn circa 1999 look like Ron Cooper circa, well, anytime he's given any responsibility besides recruiting.
