Wind got progressively stronger as practice wore on. In pass skeleton and one on ones, Russell was more accurate. Relf's only real problem route seemed to be the out routes, as they were all back shoulder instead of out in front of the receiver. He also struggled with some throws sailing a little over the middle.<div>In 7-on-7, Russell struggled with throwing the ball left (into the face of the very strong wind). It seemed that he could not or would not bring himself to put some extra on it even after seeing balls get knocked down by the wind. Relf wasn't very accurate to the left either, but he was putting more on his throws to the left and also didn't throw left as often. It was in 7-on-7 that Relf hit the very nice deep ball to Chris Smith down the right side. When there was more involved in reading the defense than a first and second read, Relf struggled some. He even pulled the ball down and acted like he was going to run once during 7-on-7.</div><div>They flipped the field for 11-on-11, so they were throwing with the wind at that point. Both did fairly well, but again, Russell was more accurate.</div><div>We'll have a much better idea about who's going to have to do what once they put the pads on. It seems Relf has improved in the passing game, though he's still not where you want him to be, but without the pads it's hard to say for sure. We'll get a much better idea starting Saturday.</div>
