Did anyone else laugh that Memphis lost tonight

when this was the game they needed to set the NCAA record for consecutive conference wins? 64 games in a row and then the big belly-flop at home against UTEP to blow it.

I'm not a Memphis hater or anything, I usually root for them when it doesn't affect the SEC, but too many Memphis fans bragging about the recruiting class and setting the record for me not to get at least a little schadenfreude out of this.

I usually root for Memphis since I've moved up here, but I do think it's hilarious, and I get a chuckle out of Memphis fans in general.

i spent too long hearing about how mississippi state can't be a good team because they play in the sec which is a football conference (and cusa is a basketball conference?). i was told that varnado isn't that good b/c "there's a difference in being the best player on an average team in an average conference and being a good player". screw memphis

How can it be valid if they have to vacate all the games Rose played in?

This of course is assume they lose their appeal with the NCAA.
