Did anyone else notice Relf was unhappy with the plays?

If you were watching on tv, the camera would zoom in on Relf when he looked to the sideline. You could tell on several occasions that he was not happy with the plays that were coming in.

There were several occasions where he would get the play and have this immediate look of disgust on his face. One particular time, he was obviously hoping to get one play and got a play that ended up being a draw, and his eyes and body lauguage said, "What the?"

the plays that were sent in ? I still don`t believe Relf ran the play(s) that Mullen called at the end of the Auburn game.

Situation:3rd quarter. We were down 6-3. It was 1st and 5 (after an offsides penalty on LSU) on the LSU 19-yard line. We were atthe line of scrimmage and then we signalled in a new play call.

Relf waiting for newplay:

Relf disappointed with play call:

The play was a pass and resulted in a sack for a loss of 5 yards. Here's his reaction to the sideline after that:

haven't been impressed with our play calling for 10/12 quarters so far this year. too much on Relf's shoulders and not enough on Ballard's as far as rushing goes. getting ridiculous!!</p>

Yeah, keep him on a leash against LSU. No need to try breaking Henig's record.<div>
</div><div>I know everyone thinks the play calling was conservative, hell it was. And it was a pretty good game plan. You can not turn the ball over against a team like LSU. We were hanging in there until Bonner's personal foul penalty. That changed the game and took away what would have been pretty good field position for us.</div>

I'm glad someone else skipped their crazy pills. It seems like everyone thinks we should have the New England Patriots Offense and the 72 Dolphins Defense. We simply went up against a team that is a whole hell of a lot better than we are. And we hung in for as long as we possibly could.<div>
</div><div>LSU will most likely beat Bama, win the SEC West, and represent the SEC in the NCG. Their Defense is legit, and Lee does just enough passing to be a threat.</div>

can't admit that we were overmatched.......if we had used the timeouts on LSU's last drive or on our subsequent drive....then the board would be erupting in cries for Mullen's head because we didn't have any TO's left for the onside kick and scoring attempt drive. I am as disappointed as anyone but if you look at where we are as a program and where we are coming from....we are making progress. We are in the toughest division in the country...period. It will take time but to start turning on Mullen is beyond ridiculous and shows complete ignorance.

I see a couple of you saying we were just trying to be "conservative."Which may be true, but it looks like there is no thought or intelligence to the play calls. LSU was being conservative, but you could see that they set up plays and when they finally saw us line up right, they hit us with the correct counter. Our play calling is random and elementary. There were plenty of other reasons for why we lost, but the play calling is weak. And does Dan even call the plays? </p>

I understand the reasoning in being conservative to keep the turnovers down but at some point you have to try and put some points on the board. If LSU wins by a touchdown and Relf throws no picks or LSU wins by 3 touchdowns and Relf throws3 picks. What difference does it make? It's still a loss.

It's been the same thing for three years. Against terrible secondaries, he looks like he's turned the corner. Against anyone else, he holds it too long, misses open receivers, and throws costly picks.

Les Koenning calls the plays. Dan said specifically that it was fun for him to get to call the plays against Auburn when the headsets went out. Or were hacked for you black helicopter types.
