Cheeseburger is a well known boozer. That said - he has a LONG way to go to match the drinking Howard Cosell did while broadcasting MNF. He got so loaded he threw up on Dandy Don during a game - got tossed from the booth - but was back the next week only slightly more sober. I also think Pat Suimmerall could have drank Cheeseburger under the table in his heyday - during the height of the Madden era ole Pat would get a little hard to understand in the 4th quarter if the game got out of hand.

If I remember correctly, a traffic cop noticed that he had an open can of beer in a car. I don't think he was driving.

I like Musberger personally, and I have zero issues if an announcer wants to do bong hits and chase that fire with a cold beer. Just be good and entertain me, and don't let the camera see you do it. But above all else, don't suck and pick on my favorite team. Can't remember the name of that douchebag who was always ragging on the Huskers for their physical play and talking like a hard hit was dirty (Cunningham???), that guy annoyed the hell out of me and I am guessing he was totally sober. Give me a drunk Messyberger any day!!!
