Looked like he was not calling plays.

Offense looked decisive and was playing with Tempo. I'm not trying to take a shot at Brown by saying this I'm just curious if this should have been the case all along.

Makes it where he can focus on what the Hell is going on versus staring at a take out menu all game.

Line blocked a lot better so that helped. Didn't waste any timeouts. Very real possibility he has given up play calling. 1st and goal we actually ran the ball and didn't throw a fade 3 straight times.

Rumor is that the fellow hired to do the analysis, and believe had held. previous offensive coordinator positions was somewhat involved last night. If true looks like a good decision.

TCU it is probably the worst team in the nation against the run. I felt like we could’ve stayed with Greene and put up more points but Greene would have to prove that he could throw the ball. That could have led to forest throws and interceptions. Doege well he is a threat with his arm which allowed the run game to dominate.

Play calling in my opinion has not been bad. The announcer nailed it when he said that Doege does not do the ordinary things consistently. He also mentioned, which was absolutely 100% dead accurate, that he becomes unreliable in the second half in close games.

Doege is plays like a Freshman. You see flashes of great plays but also experience growing pains. You cannot have growing pains with a fifth year red shirt senior. For example, you cannot scramble with the ball and fall short of the first down when you also had at least 7 yards between you and the closest defender. It’s mental plays like that, and throwing behind to the wrong WR that kills you
