Did Croom trash talk last year after AU

The AU Scout board thinks so. Apparently he refused the game ball last year because beating Auburn didn't mean any thing to him??? How did I miss this last year?

That darn walrus.....

...probably made up.

Notice how they don't like us since we beat them last year. When they were jacking us up 34-3, they were very complimentary.

So, I don't think it's made up.

Of course, the cloudiness of a Liberty Bowl win and the drunken thoughts of how great a coach he was has clouded dumbass comments such as these.

But, as I said, I vaguely remember it and thinking "dumbass".

About this time last year was when Tommy T said he would want his son to play ball for Croom, then we beat their *** at home. I bet we don't hear that compliment this year.

isn't the coach at Auburn anymore? I mean, for this quote to be correct that would have to be the case:

I had forgotten about all that. CTT has too much class to hold that against him once AU has a big lead on Saturday, though. There will be no Spurrier-esque running up of the score, unless the second team can't help it.
Isn't this the same guy that once faked a FG against us with about 2 minutes left when he was up by at least 3 TDs? I believe it was a Thursday night game.

that Tommy said he felt like he had been punched in the face and punched in the belly after the game.

As far as not accepting the game ball.....????????? I don't remember that. He did say that he was used to beating Auburn from back in his days with the Bear and that it wasn't a big deal to him. It's not a big deal for him, but he could see why the fans and team would think it was such a big deal. It just confirmed all I think about him. He believes that MSU is a terrible team in a good conference and will always be a doormat. If he can get a winning season every now and then, he will feel like he has accomplished something. He's a Bama homer and always has been. He, just like every other Bama homer, thinks that MSU is not really worthy to do well in the conference. If he had an offer tomorrow to coach at UA, he'd run like a giddy school girl. His huge ego and snobbery (for lack of a better word) towards the fans all stem from his early UA days with Bryant. I can't wait to see him go. If he will show me that he actually has the coaching ability to back it up, I'll like him for it, but thus far he's Radio with an attitude.

Of course he hated Jackie with a passion and wanted to rub it in as much as possible. I truely hated Tubberville after that game. That *** beating (especially the fake) was hard to get over.

Of course, the cloudiness of a Liberty Bowl berth...

Fixed it, because that's all I can remember.

It would have been damned hard to explain my picture on the scoreboard...

Happened right in front of me, and I could tell from the second they lined up they were going to do it. It's the most berserk I've ever gone in public (or at least in front of the 'rents). I still resent the bastard just for that one play alone. Class. What a joke.

Sorry guys.... we all know that personally for Coach Croom beating Alabama was a much bigger deal for him. Auburn message board fans are really tyring to stir the pot in order to get a win. I guess they are very nervous about playng MSU?

They may be worried about us because they might think the team is overlooking us.
