There was one replay that looks like he let go of the ball at the one foot line. You couldn't tell from the main replay, but they showed one from the opposite side as they were going to commercial that looks like he did let go right before he crossed the goal line. Did anyone else notice that? Hail State!!!

I believe Cox(?) did too in the USM game on the blocked FG return. I remember one coach on TV (can't remember which one, this was years ago) saying that he told his players that they wouldn't get credit for a TD in post-game evaluations unless they handed the ball to an official after crossing the goal line. Sounds like a good policy.

I know it really didn't have any impact on the game, but you'd think any person who has ever played WR would have been shown the clip from the cowboys/eagles game in the 90s where a review of that very thing cost a TD. GET THE BALL IN THE DAMN ENDZONE, THEN CELEBRATE.
