Did I just hear Jaws rip on McNabb for never winning the SB?

Seriously, Jaws? Look in your own trophy case, pal. McNabb's left nut is a better QB than you ever were.

You really don't take the time to reflect before you hit the return button, do you?

but compared to Jaworski he is. Just look at the stats. Plus, he's won a lot more games, and played in 5 NFC Championship games. I consider McNabb to be a good QB, not great. I just thought it was hilarious that Jaws was ripping McNabb for not winning a SB. Jaws played in one and got blown out.

Yes, Rush was right. The guy is just not among the elite QBs in the league the way ESPN & others would have you believe. He's been hyped for almost no reason whatsoever. It's a shame, really. There are much better QBs who don't get half the press.

McNabb plays in the age of pussified defenses and ridiculous offensive output. Jaws played in the day of real defense. Jaws was also one of the toughest SOBs to ever play the game. Let's not forget he held the consecutive starts record until some guys named Favre and Manning came along.

...all the Doctor of Democracy said was that the only reason the NFL was making McNabb the face of the league was because he's black. The problem was McNabb's reaction to what Dr. Limbaugh said, which was to make it sound like a bunch of dogs and firehoses were let go on him by Democrat Bull Connor in Birmingham in the 1960's.

McNabb has shown me that he's one of the best QB's of the decade, not quite on the level of Manning, Brees, Romo, or Favre, but definitely a consistent Pro Bowl performer and a sure-fire Hall of Famer (kinda on the same level as Kurt Warner).

The ridiculous defensive rules didn't come into play until about 2004 when the Colts starting whining to the league about the Patriots pass defense. Then they started being overly strict and calling all those ridiculous illegal contact penalties that everybody loves. That's when it became a passing league really. McNabb won a lot of games with a lot of average (and below average) players. Other than the one season with T.O. (when he became the first QB in the history of the league to throw more than 30 TDs with single digit INTs), before Desean Jackson there, he had nothing resembling a real #1 WR in his career. Plus Andy Reid apparently went to the Mike Martz school of "pass the ball every down". Westbrook is a good player but he's hurt more than he's healthy. McNabb ain't Brady or Manning but he has had a far from average career, that is if you care about winning football games.
