Did I miss the posts blaming Ravern Johnson for the loss?

One would think that if you guys had your leading scorer on the court you would have won that game. Kudos to Rick for making a stand. Forget the refs, if I were a State fan, I'd be pissed off like a mother 17'er at Ravern.

...probably more so than any one single factor. Especially considering Osby (his replacement) played absolutely terrible. Ravern's *** better carry us Saturday because the rest of the team will probably have their heads gone.

If you're going to get your *** suspended, at least be smart about it like Kodi was and get suspended for the SE Louisiana and Bethune Cookman games. There's no excuse in the world for getting suspended from the Kentucky game. And that probably cost us the game. Thanks a lot Ravern.</p>

Was it just me, or did everybody play hard tonight? Probably because it was UK at home, but I've never seen it as a good thing when your leading scorer is allowed to not give a **** about defense. As good as JV is, I don't think he'd be as good as a Ravern that cared about defense, and I think it's infectious when one person is allowed to choose to not live up to his potential, and keep his minutes..

we had more back door cuts in the first half than we have had all season, Dee was free to penetrate, he never plays any defense so no loss there, he never rebounds so no loss there and Osby played better defense than he would have.<div>
</div><div>The only glaring part of him not playing that hurt us is that Benock had to play as many mins as he did but in all reality heprobablywas anyway because Stans would have giving him those minsbecausehe is from Kentucky.</div><div>
</div><div>It seemed like we had better chemistry without him out there.</div>

Really? I thought he played pretty well. He made a couple terrible turnovers, but overall I thought he played a good game.

Hell, I thought everyone played well - not perfectly, but really well. And, because Stansbury had his hands tied from a roster standpoint he was forced to let Kodi and Osby play through some mistakes - that will only help them both down the road.

If I could pick one player off the bench last night that would've helped us win (other than the obvious Sidney), I would have rather had Elgin Bailey. He would have given us a better chance to man up on defense in the post instead of playing so much zone. The rebounding margin, especially them getting so many offensive rebounds and putbacks, was one of the keys to the game. <div>
</div><div>I'm personally fine with letting Ravern ride the pine for another game so that he can think some more about how much of a ***** he is.</div>
