Did North Korea get the message?

Based on the missile they launched yesterday, my conclusion is no.

Their plan was to test a nuke. The U.S. has a strike force off their coast. The U.S. pressure China to step up pressure. China did and threatened to increase their sanctions on North Korea if they tested that nuke.

Obviously, North Korea did not attempt to test the nuke. I think they got the message.

If they got the message, they would not have even attempted a missile launch yesterday.

WRONG. They told the world they were going to test a nuke. They backed off and did not. They got the message. China and the U.S. must keep up the pressure, particularly China since they are North Korea's biggest benefactor.

The missile launch yesterday was a proverbial "f'uck you" to the US.

You can't reason with irrational people. This board is proof of that.

You're right, you can't reason with people, specifically you. The facts are the facts. Stubborn as they may be. North Korea backed down and any rational person understands that. A missile test is far, far different than testing a nuke. If you don't understand the difference, it speaks volumes about you.

President Barack Obama delivered a stern warning to North Korea on Tuesday, reminding its “erratic” and “irresponsible” leader that America’s nuclear arsenal could “destroy” his country.
Kim Jong-un, the North Korean dictator, claimed to have tested a submarine-launched missile last Saturday. A photograph showed the weapon flying out of the sea, although there was no independent confirmation that it had been fired from a submarine, as opposed to a sub-surface platform.

Only a little sub-argumentative turd like you would suggest blowing up a missile at launch is a big FU to someone but after seeing your many weak attempts to debate on here I guess I should not be surprised.

New Delhi:
US President Barack Obama has sent a strong warning to North Korea not to conduct a missile test, warning of 'unspecified steps'.

"International community will take unspecified steps if North Korea conducts missile tests," said Obama.

President Obama is being firm in what could be his first big test in international diplomacy.

Country is clearly upset that while Obama dithered on North Korea (as well as most other parts of the globe, Syria anyone?), Trump is taking action. He is scared to death that Trump actions will be effective, thus emphasizing the failure that is Obama.

There it is! He brought Obama into the discussion.

Thanks for proving my point; you can't reason with irrational people.

LMAO. You guys spent years blasting Bush at every turn, including Obama. Obama was blaming Bush right up until the moment he left office. Now you complain when the tables are turned? Intellectual dishonesty at its finest.

Totally agree........thats why I tell people its a waste of time trying to reason with several on this board. You never see me do it.....I just give them the tools to paint themselves into a corner......I think you are well aware of how that works.

It is exactly why I push their buttons instead of trying to educate them.
