Did Nutt really wait until the second I-AA game to suspend players

I have no problem with this. I'd be willing to bet if our JSU and Auburn games had been flip flopped on the schedule Dixon would have still been suspended for the JSU game only. Urban did something similar with a player early in his tenure at UF.

... in Sunday's C-L, in one place it said that they were suspended for this game becauase of something that happened in the spring. In another place - same page - it said they were 'rested' this game. Just goes to show you, even at OM the PR machine can have a hiccup.

I cannot believe a) that they would be suspended in November for a spring occurrence - what a PR disaster that can be; and b) that it can be reported as one thing one place and quite the opposite the other.

Not sure if that's crappy reporting, abject ignorance, or what.

wouldn't have mattered v. usc, bama or au. And I believe it was a not going to class suspension not a DUI.

Next year is going to be rough for the rebs unless they can find some great juco offensive lineman and fast. Massie beating up on a defense that had lost a large percentage of its starters to injury and who would probably give up 100 points to Gulf Coast or East Miss Jr. college is not an impressive outing but I guess the Clarion Ledger is trying to be positive for Nutt. The rebs will obviously be ready for Orgeron and Tenn this weekend but with the way Tenn is playing it may not matter.
