I wonder how close they were to getting in. It's hard to imagine the SEC only getting 2 teams if State didn't win yesterday.
Did the committee talk about Auburn any?...

it makes me think that they weren't even close. It seems the committee gave the SEC absolutely no respect whatsoever, and since all of Auburn's success came in SEC games, I'd assume they weren't as much on the bubble as we all thought.</p>
With LSU getting an 8 seed, I think that lets everyone know how they feel about the SEC this year.
I guess UT is lucky they made a run in this tourney otherwise they could have been a bubble team.
Im still surprised that MSU got a 13 seed. Last year UGA got a 14 seed and they were the worst SEC team in the regular season.
If I was a Washington fan, I would be pissed. I think MSU could make a solid run in this tournament. I think they matchup really well against Purdue if both teams make it to the second round.</p>
