Absolutely the worst defensive game plan since Auburn last year. That soft zone will get you eaten alive with a rhythm offense like Troy has. And there is no point in playing that style with the secondary talent we have this year. I mean you normally play that when you are attempting to cover up weaknesses back there. Also, there is virtually no chance to get pressure on the opposing QB when the opposing receivers are coming wide open that quickly in soft spots in the zone. We actually got some pretty good penetration Saturday night but the Troy QB was able to get the ball out of his hands so fast to open receivers there was no way for us to register any sacks.
