Not at all. If anything what was stupid was ever scheduling 15 Q4 ganes to begin with. But if you schedule it you should play it.

Agree on both counts. If NCAA wants to get serious about ending last minute cancellations, just give both teams a loss in the RPI calculations if it's not actually raining. Or a more reasonable solution, drop the lowest 3 RPI wins from the RPI calculation. I just find it funny that we suddenly HAD to cancel this game and never even gave a thought to only scheduling 10-12 Q4 games instead of 15. That would have done a lot more for our RPI than cancelling this game.

my understanding it was an RPI disaster... we gain nothing by winning the game. Don't agree with this.
Wouldn't have been a disaster. Would have cost us maybe .002 on our RPI ranking. Virtually nothing.
Think he meant they were just going to catch a Vandy midweek, not against State. The 'us' was him and his oldest kid.
