Did Tony Connor remind anyone else of Pig?

They are similar size and the way they move on the field looks very similar to me. Pig was a running back for us his freshman year for us, and their running styles are nearly identical. I understand he is an Ole Miss lean, but I would live to pick him up. I know it's tough for us to get players from South Panola, but we have gotten Pegues, Rainey, Bobo, and others in the past. It's not like the door is completely closed.

I think he could be a top 10 recruit nationally. He looked like an absolute freak to me. I would love to have him.<div id="isChromeWebToolbarDiv" style="display:none"></div>

that tries to hepp players from that area from time to time? Seems like I've seen the bears bitching about him in the past. And yeah, Connor looks like the real deal. Problem for the bears is that they can buy half a team of Connors and will still suck b/c none of them want to be there.

because they can have just about whoever they want and can usually replace a miss on a big recruit with another solid prospect. But if Connor is already wearing Bama gloves, andis going to be ranked as high as most think he is,I would love to see the fallout from the Bama fanbase, and what theywould do, if he somehow ends up at Ole Miss. I don't think they would take that very well, and I have a feeling the Bama fanbase might get some poking around started up in Batesville and Oxford.

I wouldn't expect a kid ranked that high from Batesville to pick OM over Bama, just like I wouldn't expect a kid that highly ranked from a place like West Point to pick MSU over Bama. That almost never happens, especially now with how dominant Bama has been in recent years. That's why I think the Evans and Ward commitments are very important. Been a while since there havebeen two kidsthat highly ranked in the state of MS, and their decision could really change the landscape of big MS prospects staying in state.
