It's early yet, but that's what I am thinking. Haven't read much on the boardother than the announcement, butthat is what I am going with.

Then all this is academic and we'll never achieve greatness in anything. If rented mules and WWW scare you then get out. That is the epitome of the LT Way.
If you lower expectations then the pressure is off. This should have been Payne's job and if the thought of pressure to win or unwillingness to compete scared him away then expect malaise in the basketball program for the next decade

Plus, this is basketball, not football.

College basketball is the dirtiest sport in America, and it scared Stricklin. It takes a series screw up to blow the lid off a scandal in basketball. How many LOIs did Stansbury receive?

We hired the assistant we all wanted for Payne.

the balls to take on the major programs that are right in the middle of the circus. Stansbury for all his shortcomings knew how to play the game<div>and he played it well but let's face it, Rick was a very mediocre floor coach and we all know that so it was time for a change. I have no idea if Ray knows how to</div><div>play the game but he is hailed as a great recruiter so I would assume he does.</div><div>
</div><div>Scott really tried to pull the trigger on Payne but the sleaze factor was too high.</div>
