SPS was good, to them, when we were constantly bashing State (crooms, lt, polk v 2.0, etc). Now that those things are gone and we have a great athletic administration, the future looks bright. Therefore we have a great deal of positive posts that attract a few genes page types. They just want us to go back bashing everything, when currently, there isn't much to complain about.

But that seems like ******** to me. You guys want to think there has been some great decline here and that SPS lost it's edge but the truth is there just isn't as much for us to be mad about. Hell, we can't go hating on the Athletic Department because Scott is the bomb. We have a good football coach, beating up on Stans doesn't ever change anything, and we are still in "wait and see" mode with Cohen. It's a bit harder to drum up vitriol with how things are going at State right now.

We are also older. Yeah, I said it. My guess is that the average age of this board has crept steadily up as the years have gone on. There is only so much pissing in the wind you can do until age teaches you it's not worth it.

And as for jumping on Ole Miss posters I think you are way off. People rarely jump on a poster just because they are an Ole Miss fan making a good point. People jump on the same stupid son's of bitches who have been here spewing ******** for years. Do you really expect me to treat Bruiser with any respect just because he seems to be making sense in one post? That bastard has been coming here for years talking out his *** and then going right over to Nafoom bragging about getting people riled up. Things change, people change, places change. Both boards have declined so much over the past 2 years. NAFOOM has become terrible because of influx of dumb17 posters; they are so bad that I actually prefer most of the Hawg posters over them. Probably the worst thing is that all of these people flooded in right before we became abso17inglutely terrible, but they have stuck around dragging the board down.
