According to this character filling in for Bo Bounds, Hugh Freeze is "an exceptional coach". I think it's this Weiner idiot who does the afternoon show.

Considering what the OM fan base wants, he is exceptional.

1. Claims moral and spiritual superiority over MSU

2. Claims crooting championships

Well he has won every where he has been. No matter what sport.

Id say he is probably a good coach. Is he great? I guess we will see.

He's exceptional compared to any group of coaches other than major Div. I head coaches. He seems to be at worst an average coach among that group.

I think at worst, he is a good coach. However bad I/you want him/them to be awful at football, they have met or exceeded expectations each year he has been there. I get my hopes up every year you guys say how bad they will be the next year, and so far I have been disappointed every year Freeze has been there. I keep wanting to believe he is a mediocre/bad coach, but he keeps winning. I do think he is a big hypocrite. I think the fact that UM has the loosest restrictions on grades/suspensions/rules in the SEC is a testament to what Freeze is about. If he was what he says he is, he would tighten up those restrictions. Of course, he is probably just a puppet anyway, and doesn't have much say over anything that goes on there.

FTFY. In five years we may look and realize that Nutt left him a lot more talent than was realized and that his offense lost his luster after coaches saw it for a season or two. I do think he's probably a pretty good coach, but two seasons isn't long enough to determine that his floor is above average.
