Because Clemson was bad this year and Shane still has the admin's full support after that horrible horrible season in year 5

Seriously, Clemson is a BAD team this year. And we were favored because we put up a fight against much better teams.
Unfortunately, we are a worse team this year than Clemson. I don't see it getting much better next year.
I thought Furrey called a pretty good game. Keeping him as OC might be about as good as we can do. No legit OC is going to take the job at a program where the coach is on the death watch and the roster is pretty devoid of talent.
Because Clemson was beatable. It's at least the 4th game this year we lost that we would have won if we had any pulse or sense on offense.
Mainly, I just don't see how turned in such a lifeless offensive performance at home against our rival.

15pts. Our O scored 14pts on two plays in the 2nd qtr. Zip for the other 3. No life. Pitiful. Pathetic. I was leaning toward giving Furrey a shot, but now I’m good with wiping out the entire offensive staff. Burn that side all down.
