Does the committee have something against Stansbury for criticizing it so harshly over the Dallas debacle in 2001 (or 2002 or whenever it was)?

they probably just don't like the state of Mississippi in general. Its viewed as backward to them so while I'm not saying they go out of their way to harm us, doubt they are looking to do us any favors either. But hey, if you go by the numbers we didn't deserve to get in. As much as I hate the RPI its pretty common knowledge that teams that have an RPI ranking in the seventies don't usually get at large bids.

but it's just hard to put a team like MSU in, especially the way it went down. Throw out all the numbers, just watch the team. We won small and lost big. I mean, we got blowed out by Georgia and Auburn, while half the time looking like we didn't even want to be there.<div>
