I remember betting MSU +14 on that game thinking Vandy isn't two TDs better than anybody in the SEC. I underestimated how bad we were during the Croom Error.

We lost to Maine, UAB, and Vandy- win those and we are 6-5 and likely bowling. Not to mention Ole Miss wasn't very good that year either. Even without the Florida upset, all we had to do was beat those teams and then beat Kentucky and we are in a bowl. Should have won seven that year with an upset win over Florida.
