Didn't realize that the MSU golf team was playing here in Austin

about a mile from the house. Bet they aren't having much fun today. We finally got a big rain today and I would hate to play that course sopping wet.

Then another about a month after, or else we may never catch up. Lake Travis is extraordinarily low and you know the aquifers are as well. Weird thing is there was so much rain when we first moved here in 07 that the lakes were running over.

I've got a bachelor party on Lake Travis in July so I hope it gets better. Plus I hear you can barely go float the rivers right now. and I'd like to do that next weekend.

Because before you moved there in 07 the lake was at all time lows and everyone was saying how it could never recover. Then right when you moved to Austin, and the rain came that spring, everyone was talking about how the dams were going to explode, everything would be flooded and then the swine flu would come...........

If you live a mile from the course then I assume you live in Steiner Ranch. If you do, shame on you for not knowing the Bulldogs were there. Unless of course you could give two ***** about college golf like 98.9 % of the world.

Yeah, I do live in Steiner and I wish I would have known they were here. I would have liked to seen how some of any of those guys handled a few of the greens that game me fits the one time I played there. It is a good course.

As far as the 07 rains go, I had never seen flash flooding like it was then. I had lived in Mississippi all the time where a 1 or 2 inch rain can just get soaked up in the clay, not go rolling down the mountain side washing cars away. Still, we could use some of that deluge now and I fully expect it to happen during my kid's fall baseball season.
