I'm with you...

What owner ponies up a record contract for a middle of the road QB with the "promise" that he'll do better? Jerry, that's who.

Who hacked Mutt's account?

That's a very realistic post made about the Cowboys.

As a Raiders fan I feel your pain

It sucks sitting back and watch an owner completely ruin a team when he should have given up control long ago. I'm not saying Jones is that old yet but you. Know he will never give up control

Romo can be an all-Pro QB. His problem is that Jerruh won't spring for an.....

....elite Left Tackle who can protect Romo's blindside.

Jerruh's problem is that he was carrying water for Jimmy Johnson when he was building America's Team, but wants everyone to think he actually had a part in it. If it wasn't for Jerruh's ego, J.J. would've stayed with the Cowboys and we'd have won 2-3 more Super Bowls.

Romo is basically Eli with a worse team around him

and a less stupid face.

Really though, his 4Q stats are among the best in the league, if not the best outright.

Screw Jerry

I quit being a Cowboys fan when Jerry fired Tom Landry in the way he did. Landry was a legend and a gentleman. He deserved much more respect that Jerry gave him and this lack of respect on Jones part just shows what an egomaniacal POS he truly is. Tom Landry had class, something Jerry and all his money can't buy. Rot in hell Jerry, I'll never root for the Cowboys as long as you're the owner.

I'll be cheering for Saints to *** rape the boys this season.

Jerry Jones is the new Al Davis

Jones is the Owner, President and GM. That's too many hats. The best owners in the league hire quality GMs and let them do their job.

Jones could be a good Owner if he would hire a GM and allow his player personnel team and coaches do their jobs. But Jones is too narcissistic, an awful GM, and as a result has made his franchise a laughing stock. They won't recover while he's alive and are pretty much the Raiders, but with a bad *** stadium.

The fact it's called "America's team" makes me pull against the cowboys and Jerry. Shouldn't that title go to the Pats or Steelers, or atleast a team that's made the playoffs more than once since the mid 90's? I mean they had good teams, but they are all in the hall of fame now....

Not a cowboys fan but loved the interview last year. Wanna say it was a Sunday night game. they asked him about all the firings he has bad. That he had changed every part of the team except gm. And if the gm was somebody besides himself would they be gone. And he said yes.

At what point do they no longer call themselves or get called 'Americas Team'?

It would seem that title should have been droped about 9 years ago at least.

+25. Even when he dies Stephen Jones will take over. That won't improve anything, same genes different dude. The only way to get changes is if attendance is paltry, and I am not sure the good people of the irving river bottom would no show for games or stop buying apparel. He just sold the naming rights for Cowboys stadium to ATT worth 17-19 million. Until the fans of Dallas stop tolerating mediocrity.....this is what we get.

Romo's terrible. If you swapped teams with him and Eli, the Cowboys would be good and the Giants would suck.

If anybody can claim the mantle of "America's Team", it's Pittsburgh.

And that is coming from a lifelong Broncos fan.

They don't exactly meet the qualifications.

America's team can't have a quarterback that looks like Frankenstein's (rape) monster.

Plus, they have managed to consistently out-thug Dallas. Which is not easy.

Getting that nickname could be the kiss of death for my Steelers. It clearly doesnt help Dallas to have that awful nickname.

But yeah, the Steelers have a national following as evidenced by the excellent road attendance, and they are actually successful as a franchise which is something that should be required of 'America's Team'.
