I would hope that means we think we are in great shape with the trio of Robinson, Lawson and Polk. Still thought Day would have been a good pickup though assuming he had his grades in order.

I'm going to hope he just reserved a spot there and will jump to us if we come through with something on signing day. This is a guy most of us internet evaluators liked so if he doesn't come to MSU it will be interesting to see what kind of player he is in 4 years compared to who we signed instead.

everyone is in CYA mode. If Polk doesn't come, or one of the OB guys doesn't commit, then I think we take Day.

I don't blame Day for committing to La Tech. At worst, he has a D-I scholarship somewhere. At best, he goes to a SEC school.

I haven't seen Polk play at all, but I did really like Day's video. I think he also had a bunch of personal fouls this year, and at worst he could be a good hatchet man for us.

So if Mullen comes up and drops an offer on signing day he WILL jump ship.

if he would be willing to gray shirt? May not be a bad thing for Day because he could get a good start academically in college and hopefully put on some more mass.

From what I have read his main goal is to play big time college football-in the SEC. He'll sit out extra if it means he gets to don the maroon and white one day and play against SEC competition.
