Does anybody else just get fired up watching the videos of Dillon Day? I don't know how good he will turn out to be at the next level or how good his high school competition was, but DAMN he is an animal. Just throwing guys around and mauling guys.
I would say West Monroe has one of the best high school football programs in the country. I don't think they have won as many State Championships as South Panola the last 7 or 8 years, but I know for a fact they play better competition than South Panola and would most probably beat SP. So I don't think you have to worry about the competition he faced in high school.Brahmabull said:Does anybody else just get fired up watching the videos of Dillon Day? I think OL is one of the positions that is the most difficult to evaluate and project. Sure, you have the Sentel Hendersons (sp) of the world that are 5 stars and have 47 offers; but of the 5 guys that were first team AA this year, one was a 4 star, two were 3 stars and two werenon-rated 2 stars...TheStateUofMS said:Yes I do. I have no idea how he is only a 2 star on both sites. The Scout guys who evaluate players just got lazy. He along with Muniz are solid 3 stars in my opinion. But what seems to be a trend is that alot of lower rated OLs tend to be the better ones. I think it's because they tend to have more work ethic and the higher rated guys think they have enough talent to not have to work hard. Day wants to be at State and I don't question his work ethic. He's been working his *** off in the class room to getintocollegeit's no question he will work his *** off in the weightroom to get on the field.
