Dinwiddie at Hopewell this coming Friday!

The Dinwiddie gang invites everyone to join us at K&L BBQ for a bite to eat before the game. 5:00 ish is the usual time, but I’m sure Bleeding Navy and I will be there holding court much earlier, as we always do.

And a special shout out to Agibbs757 for the recommendation of Hank’s. What a fun place. And the Cuban Sandwich was wonderful.

Huge response game I think this could get ugly quick if the Generals are locked in. If they come out sluggish that’ll let me know they are still hindering from last weeks loss. Hopefully practice today and throughout the week is as hard as can be to get the guys back refocused

As you well know, a Coach Mills’ team is not given much time to feel sorry for itself. I would be willing to bet that they were refocused by Saturday morning and anxious to prove to the world that the loss only sharpened their determination.

Yes I've watched Hopewell play 3 times this year and can say they could've won both games they lost. Both games were lost in the last seconds of the game. The problem is not talent the problem is chemistry young players still learning the system. Quarterback Tatum and running back Hunt and receive Cook are the big three the offense of line has been fair but needs work the defense has been really good but still can get better. So with that being said I think Hopewell will continue to improve game by game. The Dinwiddie game will be a big test to see how much heart and toughest Hopewell has. Win or lose. By the end of the season Hopewell should be battle tested and playoff ready. For Dinwiddie I think road to state championship is through Phoebus seen them play Highland springs and a tough C4 region but they've the talent. Good luck teams.
