The switch was to have taken place this weekend. Can anyone confirm that it happened?

.......HD broadcast signal is the worst in the short history of HD broadcasting. Any live event such as a football game broadcast from CBS sports, the SEC Network, etc. always comes with pixelation, brief freez-ups, brief 5.1 audio cut outs, and a general sense that you need eye glasses to clear up the blur. It provides a GREAT contrast to the beauty of an ESPN live HD broadcast, in case you ever need to make that comparison.

WLBT(NBC) isn't a lot better, but they're at least watchable. WAPT(ABC) and WDBD(FOX) have the best local HD broadcast quality, especially with the live events.

I agree, but those are signal strength issues. At least they are at my house. I wonder if Comcast people have the same complaints.

I presume DirecTV has a direct feed.

Yes, CBS HD is a blocky, pixelated mess. Doesn't matter if it's CSI, SEC natioanl game, network game , or NFL game. WJTV is piss poor
