<p align="left"><font face="Arial">A friend of mine submitted the question about the date of the HD availability. Here is the DirecTV answer that he forwarded me last night:

<font face="Arial">With regards to getting your local channels in HD, I'm happy to inform you that on or before October 7, 2009 your locals would be available in HD already and you may then remove your AM-21 tuner since the receivers are already capable to receive that.</font>
