Disappointed but not done

Yesterday was the season all rolled into one game. Flashes of opportunity and the inevitable let down. To say that I'm disappointed would be a major understatement but I'm not changing teams.
Next year won't be any easier but with the growth of this program I still have hope. I knew this was going to be a process of highs and lows with more lows.

The only suggestion that I have have for some on this board would be to find another team to follow. Stoops will be here next year with his staff, who ever that turns out to be.
We'll loose players and gain players and start over in the Spring. It's always been a building process.

I guess I'm saying that you can't build a program quickly. You can't tell me the roster and staff are not better than what Joker gave us. It's by not a finished product yet but will be.

Should we have given out extensions, no
but Mitch was gambling that we were ahead of the schedule in turning this program around. Changes on the staff might be made and I hope Stoops sees this and acts quickly. We are improving but not consistently. I do believe in this program and will not turn my back on it.
I know that's not the popular thought for now but I'm not jumping ship just yet.

The roster I will agree is much better but the staff, as far as coaching goes, is exactly the same if not worse.

I see no improvement in any area that tells me this staff is superior to the previous one, except recruiting

Stoops is making Joker look like Lombardi......he has the keys to a fairly nice ride, not a great ride, but no clue how to drive it. The ride may miraculously somehow continue to get nicer, but the fact will still remain that stoops still cannot drive. Ferrari or pinto, it doesn't matter what you have if you can't drive.
