Apparently Lyles (the street agent) has come clean about everything and details of tactics Oregon used to intice recruits has emerged. They apparetnly used extremely rare air jordans (1 of only 2 pairs ever made) to entice recruits. How could they pull this off? The logical mind would seemingly connect famous alumni (nike) to the ability to get this high end apparell. The two issues I have are these:

1. Is it possible that nike corporation is aiding oregon in there recruiting efforts giving them an unfair advantage?
2. Many would say oregon's actions already crosses the line but, assuming nike is in on it, should oregon recieve harsh probation ala USC? I for one would think they should get much worse

He said the SEC has perfected this craft and has been doing it for years..all cash business. He compared the SEC to a guy who serially cheats on his wife, is slick about it and nobody ever finds out. He said Oregon is the guy who gets drunk at a convention, cheats, leaves the name on a cell phone and gets nailed immediately.

LSU is supposed to be involved with Lyles too. Brooks is going to break news today that there was a large deliveryof rare corn dogs to Lyles.

b/c everyone does that to an extent. There is no way any school can monitor the actions of all alumni or boosters individualy, but what I think is irreprehensible is if a corporation or business is aiding in the cheating directly. For example if nike was here or if victory land was as rumored at auburn
