Unofficial so don’t kill me if I missed something. It at least gives us an idea of who is gathering points already. Winning matters but winning against teams that win certainly gives you more points. Long season so plenty can change.

Thanks for the hard work putting all that together. I read that the official rankings and weekly ratings will not be released until the Wednesday after week 6 because of all the postponements.

I had thought it was after week 5 or 6. And I enjoy going over the data honestly. Now that my spreadsheet is built it’s easy to just plug in W&L’s then calculate along with the riders. I do have to get some out of state info for all the teams the west plays and there may be the dreaded team that only plays 9 so that has to be factored in. Thing is it’s close enough to start an argument or three and what’s a good discussion board without some dissenting opinions.

Have you factored in the Charles City forfeit to teams like W&L? That would affect some rider pts too.

I have not to this point. I have to see how each team is taking that too. Some have taken it as a forfeit which will give them the 16 points for beating a 1A team but they get no rider points since CC will not get any wins. It could in fact hurt their average overall to just take 16 points. And there are some that are just playing a 9 game schedule so to speak so their math factor is only 9 instead of 10. I need to dig a little on that one but that is a very good point.

other teams get rider points of the team who are taking a forfeit right? Lets say W&L & Middlesex take the forfeit. Rapp beat both of those teams which means they get rider points right?

Yes they too get the rider points. Makes it difficult because it could hurt/help depending on what a team decides to do. Some scheduled a team, some decided to play 9 games, and some decided to take the W.

@Wizard97, I had made a mistake. Rapp is at 16.00 and tied for second. They have 64 points through 4 games.

Nandua-18+(2x2wins)=22 pts
Middlesex-16+(2x0wins)=16 pts
West Point-4+(1x2wins)= 6 pts
W&L-16+(2x2 wins)=20 pts

64 points/4=16.00
