im not sure about today but back 20 years ago and before the Dixie mafia was the real deal. They were basically headquartered in Biloxi and are who played a role in the murderof judge sherry and his wife. I didn't know because I was too young or not alive but Biloxi use to be pretty hardcore back then. Drugs, prostitutes, etc. I have a friend who actually bought one of the Dixie Mafias party house and he lives in it now and has for like 15 years or so.

Three good books on Dixie Mafia. The State Line Mob may be the best. That area on the Miss/Tenn line above Corinth was something else back in the day. Dream Room was more recent, but I couldn't put either one of them down.
