set the Gulf Coast single season rushing record yesterday (1,457 yards). Dantrell Savage, who now plays in the NFL, set the old record.

MSU commit, Kelvin Bolden, had 4 catches for 143 yards and 3 TD's. He should give our receiver core a nice boost next year.

make some contributions in the backfield next year.......I don't think Elliott is the answer.........He's obviously lost a step since the injury........Perkins is speed guy and Conner is more of north/south guy and reminds me of Dixon.....Hopefully they've worked hard in this off year and have added some strength......We shall see.....Ballard is not really fast from all accounts but is a strong runner......In any case, losing AD is gonna hurt.......

I would like to see Robert run more North/ South or between the tackles and quick going East and West
I hope Montrel Conner is the answer
But someone last night on Chat said make Relf a running back next year which i think could be good
but he has fumble issues

Ballard doesn't have any great strengths, but he doesn't have any glaring weaknesses either.

It's interesting, he was first team All-State his senior year of high school yet he didn't have any major offers. That's pretty rare for a MS RB. I guess he doesn't blow anyone away at a combine, but he just keeps producing.

I think he is a great fit for the spread. People laugh about pad level, but it's important and he does keep his pads low. He has good balance and quickness and has good enough speed. He's just a good, solid back. I think he, Perkins, and Conner will get the job done. And maybe a true freshman can help out as well.
