We were over capacity for a non-conference 1-AA team on home coming and 'The Crock' was only 90% capacity at home coming against a conference foe with a winning record. Why do you think we quit playing home and home with your asses?? Why should we help fill your crappy *** stadium for you and make you money? When was the last sellout in Hattiesburg? Nebraska? Please stop this. You are embarrassing yourself. If you think we had our staduim filled with Tigers, or Elephants, or Gamecocks to get our sellouts, you don't know **** about MSU gameday! There may be at most 5K fans from another school in our stadium on a given Saturday, which means there are 45 to 55K of OUR fans in the stands. You can only dream of that my friend with y'alls crappy fan following. Sure, there are the die hard buzzards, but most of them fly to coup and don't come back. What are you gonna do when your coach leaves for TSUN? That will be a very interesting scenario.
Again congrats on your 45K. We have 30K. And you quit playing plain and simple cause you got that *** beat more times than not in the last 14 years of the series. Only the blindest homer would say different.

we played your sorry asses with the best team you supposedly had with the hall of fame qb. I hope we get the chance to do the same this season. I was s senior at an area high school that year. I still remember the Southern Miss athletic department giving away free tickets to athletes at my high school. Just trying to fill up the stadium for national television. Thank god I was a soccer player or I would have missed that *** beating.
And we quit playing in 1990, Brett Favre's senior season. We own a 2 game winning streak over USM right now. Another silly coincidence is that if we end up playing the Buzzards in the Liberty Bowl, we will have a 3 game winning streak over both instate schools. Hmmmm?</p>
That team was a good team but not close to our best team. Congrats on the 2 big wins to end the series! I was there at both as well and state fans and players partied like it was 1999!! They even came out for curtain calls. and I though we didn't matterwhosyourdawgy said:
