has dislocated his ankle and now had major knee surgery? Counting on him for anything next season is going to be a stretch

Made me nauseous seeing his foot turned backwards. It looked almost Theisman like when it happened. Even thought the injury was not as bad as it looked I just did not see how he could fully come back from it.

getting up in the grill of opposing players and pissing them off after they've whipped our ***. I guess that's something.

I don't think the ankle is an issue any more. He was doing stuff that he couldn't do before the injury. Getting better elevation, dunking it HARD. The knee does concern me. We'll just have to see on that.

since he was walking around at the game saturday with no crutches and shooting around during warmups (not jumping off of it of course) But yeah he seems to be injury prone for sure so his availability next year is questionable at best.

And the "bad luck" of Stansbury continues... Riek ends up sucking and Bailey's sure-fire Heisman campaign is derailed by injuries, leaving us w/ no post players for next year.

On a serious note, hopefully Bailey won't try and stick around and play 7 years w/ 2 "Ontario Harper medical redshirt years." We might need to free up another scholly if he's not going to be able to play in 2010, but could definitely use another ship in 2011 so we can sign as many of this Fab 5 or Fab 7 class that we can.

Walking and shooting do not require an ACL. Playing basketball at a high level certainly does.</p>

had he actually broken his ankle. I was there when he dislocated it. Normally sports injuries don't bother me in the slightest, but the way his ankle was twisted and hanging made me a little queasy.

bailey is well (or near well) and missed so much of the season, "more injuries" occurred to give him medical redshirt for him to play one more season. it's not like he was in a hurry to go to the draft.. and we'll need some paint players with experience next year

Sorry to crash your black helicopters...but no

The injury is legit and to think other wise is stupid.

He was already going to request (and receive after his sr season..next year) a medical for this year due to the ankle, thus why he has not played since before the end of OOC.

He already had the medical redshirt for this season. There was no need to "fake" an injury for it. He probably could have limped through most of the season giving us just a few minutes per game at less than 100%. But sadly, the ACL is a real injury. And one that makes you wonder if he'll ever really play again.
