Make him work for his money. If he cannot or won't get it done, make him work and quit all on his own. No buy-outs. Dude is considered the GOAT for NFL coaches rightly or wrongly, and he has his family working in the program.

Force him for pride and honor for himself, for his family, for his legacy and hopefully for UNC, to dig deep and make the right moves. Put him in the situation where this will be his legacy and always attached to his name.

Got to keep buying players and double down there. I feel the Carolina pride will force the money players to pull back and the next coaches will start with even less. The Carolina way

I see your point and all but how does the school “force” him to do anything? The buyout means that his contract is guaranteed up that amount.

Whomever came up with BB’s ridiculous contract should be the first person fired. And whomever singed on UNC’s behalf should be the next person fired. I somewhat agree that Bill should be forced to deal with the situation he’s created, but my fear is that waiting out the term of his contract will completely ruin the program for years beyond him b or his term. By the end of the year Bill will have no NFL value. So we’re stuck with him. I’m happy with the increased investment in football, but man, did they really F things up to get it!!!

I said something before that I still believe. If bill can’t bring unc out of a 45 year hole then nobody can. I also said the season starts with cal.

I think the rot at unc maybe too deep. Hope Im wrong.

Let's see how recruiting goes. Obviously the belief in Lombardi and BB as talent evaluators has taken a hit. We could have had VA's QB for example. He wanted to come but Lombardi thought he was too short.

So we'll see. Gotta have a much better starting QB next season.

this theory has been debunked with VAs coming to UNC. Came out of the qbs own mouth.

There is going to be big time shake up with all the coaching changes to big programs. I think stability we will be a huge asset in recruiting. Especially, we put some wins up and keep improving. Once parents and the recruits see Bill's vision, we might get a lot of talent in the portal and flip some kids!!!! plus, build on what returns next year!!!!

Willing to admit I wanted them all out after Clemson and that was a mistake. On the fence with Kitchens, still, but there’s something to be said for continuity and stability IF the offense keeps making progress.
