Nope, they go one-on-one just like 99% of the end of game or final possessions you'll see.

But when Stans goes one-on-one at the end of a game you guys crucify him and ask "why didn't we run a play to get an open shot?"

but what the heck ... who exactly are you suggesting should have been taking the last shots for this year's team? We had two seniors that were both exceptional role players but neither was a one-on-one scorer. We had Dee Bost, who had a number of critical turnovers down the stretch of games throughout the year. All they'd have to do is foul Ravern, and Kodi would have traveled, charged or turned it over some other way.

Whatever.

I'm just saying, every final possession you'll ever see, timeout or no timeout, somebody goes 1-on-1 and penetrates, either takes a shot or kicks it out, takes a pull up jumper, you get the picture.

So Stans shouldn't be crucified b/c we don't have a single player that can put the ball on the floor and create in a 1-on-1 situation. Barry sometimes ends up w/ the ball in that situation, but it's not Stans fault that he's entirely incapable of creating his own shot

He was supposed to take the jumper off the pick. He didn't like the look he had, so he tried to go to the goal. He said so himself post-game.

He is the coach, he recruits his players and he calls the plays. Coach K called somegreat inbounds plays last night, when was the last time Stans did that?
