They've already lost Jalen Reed to injury and haven't had starting PG Dedan Thomas for a few games now too. I think it depends if he plays or not.

Nwoko has been very good since transferring from Mississippi St.

The impatient crowd, probably the 20-30s crowd, somehow thinks it’s important to constantly bash Pope and vote NO in this little poll. Kinda funny really. Either get on the UK wagon and support all you can or get off for good. This ain’t the Cleveland Browns. It’s up in the air as to how this season plays out and next year might as well be a decade away the way things change at this point. Why not root for your favorite team, suck it up if we lose, and celebrate if we win? Make it about the basketball and less about what goes on behind the scenes in this circus they call CBB these days.

the question was "who do you think wins"?
not "who do you hope wins"?
you let other people's opinions bother you too much.

Who would have thought this program would ever be asking itself is we would beat LSU and then the votes are 50/50.

They have lost 3 in a row, so we should - but who knows.
Been a fan for 40 years. Definitely been many times over the years I thought it would be 50/50 to come away with a win in Baton Rouge. Not some new phenomenon

They have certainly had some good teams and hard to beat there. I don't think this is one of those.

They only have 4 losses and 3 of them in a row (usually not a good sign).. but they really played, and beat, no one this year. Their OOC slate was a joke: they got smoked by TTU and beat Boston College and then proceeded to play like a dozen nobodies. Then SEC plays start and they are winless. Seems like a paper "tiger" to me.

I think we win. Last game was maybe our best yet and even the collapse against Mizz, we showed some strong improvements. I think we are starting to put things together.

But we have to play the right guys and the right minutes. Moreno, Jelly, Jasper, Oweh and Kam all need to be out there IMO. Chandler is a good glue guy, makes smart plays. Id send MoD and Aberdeen to the bench.

My exact sentiments. Only little difference is I think Aberdeen passed more Saturday and maybe he has seen a small speck of light. He keeps passing then we’re ok.

If this is Kentucky we are talking about, then there SHOULD be the expectation that Kentucky will win every basketball game they play. Do we ? No. But the point is, that's been the MINDSET going into to EVERY game. Hence, one reason why we are #1 in all time wins.

And I don't want to see Kansas, closely nipping at our heels, and even though you got a ton more years taking into account for Kansas (in particular, etc) I still don't want to see them passing us in Wins. Screw that thought.

So WIN the game. We're capable, we just need to get to that mindset where we are going to do whatever it takes, down to the last freaking man, what it takes to WIN.

- End Runt's rant #12,582 ( and counting )

Win ! ( Go Big Blue! )

I don’t care who you think wins either. Some people seem to have 22 hours out of 24 in a day to sit and bash what they claim to get enjoyment from.
i apologize for being a jerk, didn't mean that comment to be so d*ckish. im runnin a little hot today.
i still don't agree with you but i can't hate on a guy who just wants everyone to root for the good guys.
i will try to improve my vibes, lol

With Lowe out and JQ questionable, for those who voted for a win, do you change your mind?

I think its 71-67 cats. We come back in the 2nd half.

Always support your team!! Always!
There are times when supporting your team today means you aren’t supporting them tomorrow.

I always feel good about winning even during those times, but when losses happen, I’m glad too. It’s akin to being torn. Kentucky is currently (Administtation) is wanting to create apathy at Kentucky. They want you cheering for a win while sitting 10-8. They want you going nuts over beating the #22 team who’s falling out of the top 25. That way over the next few years you forget about competing at high levels and become excited over a tournament birth.

So no to protect the program we don’t need Mark to be average. We need him to either be dogshit or live up to Kentucky basketball. Without doing this and when we give in to the apathy, the program is gone. There is more on the line than SUPPORT YOUR TEAM and showing up clapping like a boomer without swag. GO TEAM is not going to help this program. It’s going to hurt it.

That doesn't change my mind. I actually voted that the Cats win, with the thought that neither of them would play.

I HOPE we win. I hope that what we saw in the final 36 minutes of the last game was the result of a desperate team understanding they need each other to do anything worthwhile. The ceiling on this team is significantly lower without Lowe, but they can still salvage some of this if this team wants it enough.

The OP asked a simple question, you decided to do the same thing you and a couple others do in every other thread you enter.

We don't care that you have the expectations of a Vanderbilt fan, just freaking vote and post a comment that is within the topic of the post.

Definitely should win this game. LSU is down a couple of their better players and the guys that are oeft over, are not as good as what we have.

We have to get this one and we need to be prepared and start out of the gate strong. I wish we would stop getting behind the way we do.

If we lose this one, we're not making the tournament, it's that simple. If you can't beat LSU, you ain't winning any other road games.

Definitely are capable
Just bring the energy and urgency
Capable but it depends if we play like the last 11 minutes or the first 29 minutes of last weeks game. I don’t like this teams chances many nights without a PG. Maybe if JJ starts getting minutes and actually passes the ball.

That’s called toxic positivity and it destroys work places and sports teams alike. This team isn’t close to being consistently good and everyone has watched all year how bad we have been most nights.
