Do we have an experience advantage over UW?...

This is UWs first trip to omaha and it is our 10th. However, I don't believe that any of our current players or our HC has ever been. Does that put us on pretty equal footing from an experience perspective?

Our teams are probably in similar mindsets... Neither expected to be there a couple of months ago. Both coming off dramatic wins in the SR. I don't think banners on the outfield wall back at Dudy Noble are going to play much part.

I don’t know that I’d call it an experience advantage per se since none of our current players have ever been there, but I do think that when you sign up for MSU baseball, there is an expectation that you will play in Omaha at some point. With that in mind, I don’t think we’ll see too many deer in the headlights looks from our dugout.

As far as UW goes, I really can’t say. I do think it will be good to be aggressive early, however, and see how they react

I would also think that playing in SEC stadia prepares a team better for playing on a big stage than the PAC 12. Ultimately though it probably doesn't make much difference after an inning or two.

The only thing that scares me is our regional/CWS recent history w/ Pac12 teams : UCLA and Arizona. Those blew my mind. Both in front of 20K state fans in Omaha, and 13K state fans in Starkville.
Having said that, I don't see us losing this one, but there is cause for concern.
